A local church has seen the light, by placing solar panels to its roof. St Matthias’s Church, in the artery of North Hill, has had a set of 16 panels installed. They have been put in to reduce the church’s energy bills as well as its carbon emissions. The chaplain, the Rev Paul Bryce, was looking for a way to cut down the church’s electricity payments. The administration was well organised, kept me informed with all the necessary information regarding the process of the job and the fitting date.
The surveyor and fitting team were extremely efficient, courteous and customer friendly, all done and completed to our satisfaction within a day. No mess or fuss, just plenty of tea.

The system is working well, not too obtrusive on the roof, and what a pleasure it is to occasionally send units back to the grid when we’ve not used them. For us the most obvious benefit is the “Feed in Tariff’, the fact that we are using most of the units we generate….not having to buy them, but instead getting paid to generate them is a very pleasant sensation.

We also find the monitoring unit you fitted with the system very useful for tracking our daily/monthly generation.
